I made it to Oxford!

I made it to Oxford!!! It is so beautiful here! I think that of the little towns I have been to, this is definitely my favorite! It is just so what a little British town in the countryside should be...at least what I have seen so far....which has really only been like 3 blocks of the same street. But I think I am going to head over to the college later today! Anywho, I am at the YHA Oxford and it looks really nice, I won't get into my room for another hour :(

Oxford was my favorite too :-)
I remember when we were there the students at the university were taking their (equivalent of) finals and so they were all wearing black robes with carnations in them depending on how far they had made it through their tests. Interesting tradition...

They also told us you weren't supposed to walk on the grass unless you were a student there. Huh.

Cynthia,
It sounds like Oxford was a good idea. I can't wait for you to come home. Yea, only a few more days. Time is speeding by me. That's what happens when you get older. Guinness has been really good lately. Oh, my car wouldn't start again today so I drove your car. Brian is going to change my timing belt over the weekend so I hope that helps. Well, be safe, remember what we talked about nuts. Colleen and Ryan leave tomorrow for Winter Park. So I will see you soon. I love you always, Mom

Hi Cindy: Your blog is fantastic, the photos of Scotland make me want to visit tomorrow. See you tonight.
